Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 23, 2026
This policy explains how LEANGLE HR Lab handles information when you use our workplace self-assessments, document library, drafting assistant, view results, purchase a growth product, or contact us.
Information we collect
We collect the name and email address you provide, your optional role and organization, and your assessment answers. From those inputs, we create scores, report content, and related assessment records.
If you sign in and choose to save a library draft, we store its title, content, and any source references and review notice with your account so you can reopen or delete it. Text submitted to Nova for drafting is processed to answer your request; unsaved library edits remain in your browser while the page is open and are not saved to your account.
We also process operational metadata needed to provide the service, such as report identifiers, payment and checkout status, email delivery status, timestamps, and limited technical or request information used for reliability, security, and troubleshooting. We do not need or store your full payment-card number.
How we use information
We use this information to administer the assessment, calculate and display results, send the requested free snapshot and purchased content, personalize report and workbook wording, take payment when you choose a growth product, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and maintain and improve the service.
If you separately choose the optional marketing checkbox, we record that choice, its timestamp, and the version of the consent language. That choice is not required to take an assessment or receive free results. We do not send marketing messages merely because you submit an assessment.
Assessment scores are calculated deterministically from your answers. An AI service may help personalize the explanatory and coaching language after scoring; it does not determine or alter your score. Automated wording can be incomplete or inaccurate, so use your judgment when interpreting it.
Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers to operate the service, including Stripe for payment processing and Resend for transactional email delivery. Relevant information is shared with these providers only as reasonably needed for those functions and is handled under their own terms and privacy practices.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or support a business reorganization. We do not sell assessment answers as a product.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No online system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Saved library drafts are available to the signed-in account that saved them. Do not put Social Security numbers, medical details, or other unnecessary sensitive employee information in drafts or Nova requests. You can delete a saved draft from the library; deletion removes that draft from the active library.
We retain assessment, report, payment, and delivery records for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by record type; we delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably required.
Email links that open an online report are bearer links: anyone with a valid link can use it during its limited validity period. Do not forward them. Purchased PDF attachments remain available as files in your mailbox, subject to your email provider and device.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of certain personal information, and to complain to a relevant regulator. These rights can be subject to lawful exceptions, identity verification, and recordkeeping requirements.
To make a privacy request, contact support@leanglehrlab.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Developmental-use boundary
Reports are self-report tools for reflection, coaching, and workplace development. They are not clinical or medical assessments and are not designed for hiring, employee selection, performance ranking, eligibility decisions, or other high-impact decisions about a person.
AI, where used, personalizes coaching wording only and does not determine or change assessment scores. Humans make employment decisions. Do not use this assessment autonomously for hiring, discipline, termination, promotion, demotion, compensation, performance management, accommodations, leave, scheduling, or another employment action.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions may be sent to support@leanglehrlab.com.
